This region falls in a hot and dry area.

Jaisalmer has a very high diurnal temperature.

Hence the temperature at night is suitable for human comfort but becomes very high during the middle of the day. 

As the winds are constantly blowing from the dessert area the city of Jaisalmer have to face this high temperature difference.
